STEP 1 - The Design Process

• Discuss design, paper, fonts, media, colors and theme,  and fund for the project.  
• Advise you of cost and prepare a sample;
• Provide you with up to 3 electronic images of the design.

STEP 2 - Design Approval

Once a design is approved, you can provide us with your invitation and/or announcement verbiage.  We have over 400 fonts to select from and we'll help you select the best one to compliment your custom invitation design.   We then provide you with an electronic proof of the layout of your verbiage featuring your font selection.  We always offer fast and personalized service!

STEP 3 - Acquiring Payment

Once the proof is approved, we proceed by collecting your payment for the order and place your name on our production schedule.  We require full payment on all orders prior to production.  We will invoice you electronically and you will have the option of submitting your payment electronically through PayPal,  by credit card or e-check, directly from the the electronic invoice.  Its convenient and safe to pay for our custom-design work!   

STEP 4 - Production

Please keep in mind that our designs are individually hand-assembled and thus require more time for production than a machine-processed card.  Time required for production is contingent upon the size of the order and the intricacy of the design.  Please use the following as a guideline when ordering our handmade products:

               Up to 50 Invitation or Card Sets - 5 to 10 days

                Up to 100 Invitation or Card Sets - 10 to 14 days

                Up to 250 Invitation or Card Sets - 14 to 21 days

                Up to 500 Invitation or Card Sets - 4 to 6 weeks

             1,000 to 10,000 - please contact us for an estimate

This is an approximate time table.  In some cases, we may be able to complete an order in less time.  Peak seasons such as Holidays may require a little extra time.

Production will take place between the date your payment clears and the deadline date you provided us for completion of your order.  Charges for bounced checks, or any action necessary to collect the funds due, will be added to your invoice as they are incurred and will delay your order until we attain full payment.

Once your order is printed, we can accept changes, but you will be charged for the cost of the items which require reprinting as if it were a new order.  If you order was printed, hand-assembled and basically completed, and you require reprinting, you will be charged for a completely new order.  We are not responsible for errors made or overlooked in our customer's proofreading efforts.  However, if after you receive your order, you notice  a typographical spelling error was made due to our negligence, we will reprint that component of your order and ship it to you at our expense.  We keep accurate and complete files of all our client requests and correspondence and keep a copy of the complete produced Set for verification.

Our products are shipped via USPS Priority or Express Mail service.  Applicable shipping and handling charges will be included in your invoice.  When your order is shipped, we notify you electronically and provide you with the shipment's tracking number.

All Custom-Designs are the sole property of Elegant Handmade Creations, Inc.  Any unauthorized reproduction of any part of the work done by Elegant Handmade Creations, Inc. is prohibited.  In addition, Elegant Handmade Creations, Inc., retains the right to display any of the sample work completed, including photos, on our web site or in brochure form.
